John C. Goff Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

John C. Goff is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Real Estate Equities Company, one of the largest publicly
traded real estate investment trusts in the United States with over $4 billion in assets. Upon co-founding Crescent in the
early '90's, Mr. Goff served as CEO through its initial public offering in May 1994 until early 1997, when he became Vice Chairman
of the Board of Trust Managers. He returned as CEO in June 1999.
Mr. Goff joined Rainwater, Inc. in 1987, shortly after Richard E. Rainwater began the company as a private investor. From
1987 to 1994, he was Vice President of Rainwater, Inc., serving as senior investment advisor and principal. Mr. Goff was
responsible for Mr. Rainwater's foray into real estate, designing the strategy and acquiring the assets that led to the initial
public offering of Crescent.
Mr. Goff is the Managing Principal of Goff Moore Strategic Partners, L.P. (GMSP), a private investment partnership. The
partnership focuses on investments outside the scope of Crescent and is currently involved in the management of over $1 billion
in assets.
From 1981 to 1987, Mr. Goff was employed by KPMG Peat Marwick, with Mr. Rainwater as one of his principal clients. Prior to
joining KPMG Peat Marwick, Mr. Goff was employed by Century Development Corporation, a major office developer and property
management company.
In addition to Crescent, Mr. Goff serves on numerous boards, both corporate and non-profit, as well as on board of the
National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT).
