The North Texas NAIOP chapter is presenting the first annual NAIOP Comedy Night on Thursday, February 25, 2010. Over 200 industry professionals will come together and enjoy a night of networking, comedy and some much needed laughter.

The focus of this event is two-fold. First, we hope to raise money to support the growing NAIOP Developing Leaders program. This will allow us to expand on the educational and networking programs available to the Developing Leaders members throughout the year. Equally, it is important in all of us to give back to a selected charitable cause within our community. Our goal is that through our hard work surrounding this event, we are creating an opportunity for Developing Leaders to raise awareness about a North Texas charity. NAIOP Developing Leaders has selected Gilda's Club North Texas. A portion of the proceeds from NAIOP Comedy Night will go to Gilda's Club.

NAIOP Comedy Night will be held at Hyena's Comedy Club in Mockingbird Station. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. and run approximately 3 hours. The headlining act for our event will be world famous comedian, John Caparulo. He has appeared on The Tonight Show, Comedy Central Presents, Last Comic Standing, Blue Collar Comedy: The Next Generation, Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show and Chelsea Lately. Caparulo will be preceded by Aaron Aryanpur, who will compliment him to be sure everyone goes home in stitches.

We have four remaining sponsorships available. The two "Main Stage" sponsors will receive prominent signage and seating at the event, name recognition on all printed materials and one table which provide eight (8) tickets for the event. The "Stage Right" sponsor will cover the costs of food which will include hors d'oeuvres during the entire event. This sponsor will receive name recognition in printed materials and at the event as well as one table with eight (8) tickets to the event. The "Stage Left" sponsor is also a joint sponsorship opportunity for two companies which will cover the cost of the bar service throughout the night. There will be two bars for this event along with cocktail service throughout the program. These sponsorships will each receive name recognition in printed materials and at the event as well as one table with eight (8) tickets to the event.

In addition to the above mentioned sponsorships, we have a limited number of table sponsorships available. The "Center Stage" tables will have priority table location. The "Backstage" table sponsor is not behind the stage but just behind the Center Stage tables. Each table sponsor will receive eight (8) tickets to the event.

The venue has limited seating and priority will be given to all sponsors. We encourage anyone interested in attending NAIOP Comedy Night to consider a sponsorship of this exciting event.
